Vita Technology is involved in the specialized field of manufacturing stainless steel water duty hydraulic cylinders and center mechanism cylinders for the tyre industry. Applications include bead lift, arm, loader, unloader, ejector, and others for tyre curing presses. The tube, piston rod and end heads are manufactured from stainless steel. Piston and gland are made from bronze and the seals are in nitrile rubber / bronze filled PTFE. All our cylinders are available with NPT, BSPT, and BSP threads.
As of June 2009, about 5,300 cylinders fitted to tyre curing presses are operating successfully, both inside and outside of India.
