The cylinder temperature rating is more than 80 deg C as steam is adjacent to the top cover of the center mechanical cylinders which are operated by water. The tube, piston rod and end fittings are manufactured from stainless steel ASTM-CF8 castings and AISI-304 drawn materials, the piston and gland from bronze, and seals from PTFE with bronze, and rubber energizers.
