Five years later, in 1988, the company received financial support from the Technology Development & Information Corporation of India (TDICI) Ltd to start developing valves.

The company initially focused on producing monoblock pumps for agricultural applications, and its quality quickly gained recognition in the market. Vita Pumps Pvt. Ltd. began producing water duty hydraulic cylinders for tyre curing presses in 1983.
