Chip detectors are being used in ALH and Cheetah/Chetak Transmission system to detect the presence of metal chips in the transmission oil and provide an electrical signal to the cockpit.
Chip detector is a two component assembly consisting of a chip detector and a self-closing valve with screen assembly. The detecting part of Chip Detector contains a magnetic nose piece assembly having an axial gap. This axial gap gets bridged by metal chips collected in transmission system and provides an electrical signal.

We manufacture these couplings in four different sizes. They are part of the hydraulic system and each unit consists of two halves. One half is attached to the hose end and is called as “Hose End Half” one the other half is called “Bulkhead Half” and is permanently mounted on Bulk Head. Both halves are connected by rotating union mechanism until ratchet teeth are fully engaged and disconnected by retracting union sleeve and rotating union mechanism until disengaged.

‘Tank-to-Tank Connector’ is an assembly going into the fuel system of the Advanced Light Helicopter (Dhruv), manufactured by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited. The helicopter will be used by the Indian Defence in both armed and unarmed configurations.

Magnetic Drain Plug
Magnetic Drain Plug is being used in Tail Gear Box (TGB) of Cheetha/ Chetak/ Cheetal Helicopters to detect the presence of metal chips in the Gear Box oil and provide facility for draining the oil from gear box.
The Magnetic Drain Plug consists of a Chip Detector and Mounting Base assembly. The Chip Detector contains a magnetic nose piece which detects metal chips in the Gear Box oil.

Check Valve
Check valve is used in the hydraulic system to allow the fluid flow in one direction and not allow the fluid flow in the reverse direction (checked direction). This check valve is used in the return line of hydraulic system.
